EAGLE LINER BUS TICKETS CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS

Before cancelling your Eagle Liner bus ticket, it is important to get in touch with Eagle Liner support team. 

Be aware that cancellations rules can be applied differently in each case. 

Tickets that are cancelled will be refunded into a banking account within 15 working days.

But this must be requested at least 6 hours before departure. 

Tickets that are cancelled and need to be refunded are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.

Cancellation requested after the departure time will be refunded only if the reason is death or hospitalisation of the passenger. 

In this case is necessary to pay a 20% cancellation fee.

An alternative booking (the rebooking) may be done for the next available seat on the same route.

But it is necessary to cancel the initial ticket at least 3 hours before the departure time.

Passengers can be paid a 20% rebooking fee.

No more than one rebooking will be allowed per ticket issued. 

Any increase in the bus ticket price will be for the account of the passenger, payable immediately on making the rebooking.

Rebooked tickets cannot be refunded.

If a passenger misses the bus, no refund will be granted.

In peak season they are smaller than in off-peak season.

Pensioner's

- In the middle of Peak season: All pensioners can get 5% off in their bus ticket.

- In the Off Peak season: All pensioners can get 10% off in their purchased.

Children Free Bus Tickets

Children younger than 4 (four years old) can travel for free, but they cannot occupy a seat. 

- In Peak Season: Children between 4 and 11 years old can get 15% off on a ticket.

- In Off Peak Season: All children between 4 and 11 years old can enjoy a 20% off.

SANDF and SAPS Discount

Travellers that are members of SANDF ( Defence Intelligence pision) and/or SAPS ( South African Police Service) can get discounts on their Eagle Liner Bus Tickets.

EAGLE LINER LUGGAGE RULES

Here some information about what's permitted:

Passenger's luggage cannot exceed 20 kilogrammes in weight or 80x60x60cm in size.

In a case of cross-border services, it is allowed a luggage with 30 kilogrammes.

Eagle Liner reserves the right to refuse carriage of any item or luggage, which does not follow these conditions.

No bicycles, electronic equipment, fishing rods, surfboards, abnormal boxes or perishables will be carried, unless prior arrangement is made with an Eagle Liner Supervisor.

Additional charge may be applied as per pre-determined tariffs for excess luggage.

Documents Required for your Bus Travel

Travellers must guarantee that they are in ownership of valid travel documents. 

If the bus travel is in South Africa territory and the passenger is south African, it is necessary to carry a valid I.D.

In a case of foreign passengers, the passenger must have a valid passport and the required visas to all journeys. 

Boarding on Eagle Liner Bus

We recommend that you arrive at the boarding point about 30 minutes in advance from the scheduled departure time.
